Height: Beagles come in two height varieties; 13 inches and under, and 13-15 inches. In the show ring, a beagle over 15” at the shoulder is disqualified.
Weight: under 20 pounds (13” and under), 20-30 pounds (13”-15”).
Beagles are a member of the Hound Group, who are energetic and require plenty of playtime.
Common colors include lemon, red and white, and tricolor.
The Beagle’s adorable face, big brown or hazel eyes, and long, houndy ears make them irresistibly cute!
Beagles are loving and lovable, happy, and companionable - all qualities that make them excellent family dogs.
